Mom apparently had a seizure while at the hotel in Durham on Thursday. Her sister K found her on the floor of the bathroom at 4 am, unresponsive. Mom had been sick and her head felt weird and that's all she remembered. K called an ambulance and they gave her an IV of the steroid for swelling and that made her come around. They have now put her on a seizure medication and increased the steroid again.

She is feeling fine now and is with her sister in Maryland for the next 3 weeks until her next treatment at Duke.

With the holiday season just around the corner, we urge everyone to purchase holiday cards from the American Brain Tumor Association. They use the money to fund research grants.
