After a 2 1/2 week visit to St. Louis, mom is with me here in Atlanta for the week for the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation's Race for Research on Saturday. My team has done a wonderful job with fund raising, currently at $1585.

She has had problems lately with seizures in her face. The doctor increased the seizure medication she was on (Keppra) to its highest level, and had to add another (Lamictal) drug. It has to be gradually increased, so there has not been a big change yet, but hopefully it will help more in the next week or so. She needs some help with getting around as there is still some dizziness and pressure in her head, and unsteadiness. The cataract also makes it very hard to see out of one eye, so hopefully they can do something about that soon.

Overall, we are blessed that she is doing well in that there has been no chemo for almost a year now! We are very thankful.
